MUSIC FAIL: James Arthur – Fire In The Booth

I know this is like a week old, but I had to share with those who haven’t heard this. (People that have heard this can also join in I suppose).

So X Factor winner 2012, James Arthur went onto Charlie Sloth’s show on 1xtra to do his very own Fire In The Booth (a part of his show where people come and freestyle some ‘bars’)

Now from what I remember James Arthur is a SINGER not a rapper, this was an absolute epic FAIL!

I have been cringing over and over again, he even tried to send for Comedian Frankie Boyle.

James Arthur has said he’s quitting Twitter following a heated war of words with comedian Frankie Boyle, and sparking outrage over a homophobic slur he used in a shocking rap.

The pair threw cutting insults at each other before X Factor winner James finally decided to come off the social networking site altogether, writing: “#LOVE to my fans but I’m coming off twitter for good. HQ will be doing all my tweets from now on. PEACE!”

 

LOOOL… That is all I can say on the topic.

Gucci let off a series of tweets today going at industry folks from Waka to Nikki Minaj to Rozay. This evening, producer C4 liberates a previously recorded track from March. You said enough, Gucci.

After huge inspiration from J Cole’s Let Nas Down, V Simmons has caused huge a twitter stir (that’s a good thing btw), with his own UK remake, this one is called Made Wretch Proud.

Wretch is someone that alot of us look up to, starting from an underground artist and now becoming a      worldwide star, it was only right that the London rapper paid homage to his hero.

Loving this one. Cannot wait to hear more from V Simmons.

Is she really an O.G?

Now as may of you may know, yesterday controversy was thrown all over twitter, facebook, bbm any other social networking thing you could think of about OG Niki.

A 17 year old female, residing in Birmingham, she released a debut video on Grime Blog called ‘Paper Way’, a song telling the whole world about her sexual experiences.

Now, personally, I do not think there is anything wrong with this if you are ready to face the insults and negative portrayal of your reputation, and from the looks of it through her twitter feeds, she really does not care. She see’s it as a away of exposing her sexual past so that nobody else is capable of making up rumours about her past.

She freely talked about she how she had sex with 6 people and allowed it to be filmed, she also talked about how her mother knows about her reckless lifestyle.

Released just 24hours ago, she already has almost 30,000 views, with 479 dislikes and 236 likes from viewers.

She tweeted today: “So yeh I’m getting signed. Madness”

However, according to her she is signing a management deal, not a record deal.

the video increased her follower count by 1,500 in just under a day. So much speculation has revolved around this young girl, many ‘rate’ her for being real, others ‘slew’ her for acting so freely and talking about her shameful past.

In the journalism industry as we say: “bad news is always good news”.
